What is Natural Mineral Attapulgite Desiccant ?

Attapulgite desiccant clay is ground and processed from the naturally occurring mineral calcium aluminosilicate.

It is mainly used as an inexpensive and effective static desiccant when packed into sachets, from where it will adsorb moisture from enclosed spaces, to prevent 

corrosion and mould growth. It remains physically unchanged when dry and when saturated with water.

It meets BS7529:1991 standards of dryness and adsorption capacity.
