Using attapulgite clay in Inorganic Rheology Modifier Industry for Higher Yields Suspension Fertilizer and Foliar Fertilizer

The unique properties of our suspension agent (Attapulgite Clay Thixotropic Thickener) are of particular value to suspension and foliar fertilizer & Pesticide users because little viscosity results when the suspension is under shear, allowing the mix to pass through application spray nozzles easily and uniformly.

Our High Viscosity Attapulgite Powder goal is to bring healthy and inorganic agriculture products to every house thanks to the combination of new technologies and talent of our team.

Inorganic Gel for Liquid Pesticide Formulation Technology – Fertilizer & Pesticide Suspension Concentrate

Concentrated aqueous formulations, such as a suspension concentrate (SC), have been used to deliver agrochemicals to targeted sites for many years. However, a typical SC may contain a significant amount of non-essential ingredients for plant growth in order to maintain the stability of SC formulations.

The formulation is blended together with a hi-shear mixer and then liquid milled through a media mill using glass beads, zirconium oxide beads or sand as the grinding media. The mean particle size generated by this type of milling can be extremely small, often below 1 micron.

It is important that the active ingredient and any solid carriers used in this type of Inorganic Rheology Suspending Thixotropic Modifier formulation have a very low solubility in the suspending solvent (usually less than 0.2%) otherwise Ostwald ripening (crystal growth) will occur in the product.
